to compliment these loves respectively.

By Tom;

Born on the Northern Beaches of Sydney I was surrounded by the ocean which holds sandstone cliffs in its palms. My love for surfing and fishing meant plenty of time in the elements from an early age not knowing that one day I would be handling a natural material that surrounded me since birth to create sculptures.

I always appreciated beauty in all things but never was able to express it properly without being judged. Falling in to carpentry I had the nail bag on through my late teens in to my early 20’s until an injury flowed me into studying graphic design. Working as a freelance graphic designer while shooting some photos my expressiveness grew to letting go and learning to love my passion for eye pleasing visuals. As my injury settled and my energy grew, I struggled to sit still for too long. My two worlds collided the day I saw a piece of sandstone break open and the beauty and unknownness of the stone lit up my imagination. From there I created multiple functional sculptures in my backyard, that lead to being a full time artist in my studio surrounded by my chickens”
